Sports bettors in Ohio who want to bet in-state are still waiting for their chance. But, when can we expect Ohio sports betting apps to become available?

Though sports betting is allowed in Ohio, it is not yet operational, and the exact date of its launch is unknown. Fans will be able to take advantage of incentives and possibilities such as Ohio sports betting bonuses once it becomes live.

So, when might Ohio sports betting apps be available for use?

There is a deadline for sports betting to begin in Ohio.

As Gov. Mike DeWine signed sports gambling legislation late last year, officials set a Jan. 1, 2023, deadline for sports betting to go live in the state, giving them all of 2022 to set things up.

Because there are so many steps to institutionalising sports betting, it’s difficult to pinpoint where officials are currently in the process.

Regulators must establish rules and regulations, approve or deny applications from potential sports betting companies, and much more before Ohio residents can gamble on their favourite teams and leagues.

When they do, however, it will be time for Ohio sports fans to get in on the action. With clubs in all of the major professional sports leagues, bettors who love to wager on both local and national, and international teams will not be disappointed.

Furthermore, Ohio is anticipated to enable bettors to wager on college sports, a privilege not available to residents of all states. As a result, supporters of Ohio State, one of college athletics’ most strong brands, will be able to bet on their team if they so desire.

Some of the biggest names in the game are anticipated to be there once sports betting applications are available in Ohio.

Experts believe that betting companies such as BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, FanDuel, WynnBet, Barstool Sportsbook, and others will set up shop in Ohio once they are permitted to do so.

JACK releases its sports-betting app for free play

JACK Entertainment launched betJACK on Tuesday, an online and mobile platform that Ohioans can use for sports betting, but only with free tokens for the time being.

According to a news release, JACK launched betJACK in preparation for real money sports betting in Ohio, which is still in the works after the Ohio Statehouse passed a measure allowing for it.

People will be able to try their hand at sports betting without investing any money thanks to the app.

JACK claims that customers who use the bet JACK app users will receive a daily allotment of 100 tokens when they log in, and they will be able to earn more tokens with each winning wager.

Wagers can be placed on a variety of sports, including NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL games, as well as international soccer, e-sports, and rugby.
